The company’s Goodyear’s Optitrac LSW 1400/30R46 is an alternative to tracks or duals on four-wheel drive tractors.
The low sidewall tyre is fitted to a larger rim to produce a standard combined size.
Titan says it offers the same pressures and load capacity but better stability reducing bounce under drawbar load and on the road.
Titan’s, Scott Sloan said the Optitrac met demand for super-single flotation tyres.
“Customers are beginning to shift from the mindset that dual configurations work well in every application.
“If a grower isn’t running between rows post-emergence, there’s no reason to be running a dual configuration.
Titan says the tyres will reduce pinch row compaction and rutting that dual 710/70R42s or 800/70R38s are currently used and the extreme flotation design will spread ground pressure.
