A Gen 4 Extended Monitor is available providing an additional in-cab display to more conveniently oversee operations with two monitors.
While the new Rate Controller 2000 integrates with many implements for product control.
According to Deere, the Gen 4 Extended Monitor solution will monitor any number of machine, implement and precision ag functions such as planting or product applications.
Operators can also move pages and display functions from one display to another.
"We designed the Gen 4 Extended Monitor to be an easy-to-install and easily customisable solution that provides increased flexibility for customers who want a second display in-cab," Deere production and precision ag marketing manager, John Mishler said.
"Having a second monitor in the cab enables operators to see and control more information.
"The Gen 4 Extended Monitor eliminates the potential for mismatched totals or data on two different display operating systems.
There's no additional software updates required and minimal setup needed for this solution,” he said.
The Deere US release said the Gen 4 would be a lower cost to the customer than an alternative display option.
The monitor is designed to work exclusively with the 4600 CommandCenter.
John Deere is also rolling out its new Rate Controller 2000 that integrates with a range of implements including trailed sprayers, liquid and dry fertilizer systems, anhydrous applicators and some planters.
The rate controller aids in field documentation, map-based prescription applications, and overlap control when used with John Deere section control activation.
Deere says the new rate controller can manage the application of up to five different products, liquid or dry, with increased section control capability.
The controller will also provide the ability to simultaneously apply liquid fertilisers, along with other inputs such as herbicides, insecticides, or granular products, to reduce the number of passes.
"The Rate Controller 2000 provides much greater flexibility and utility across numerous equipment platforms for customers who want a single rate controller," Mr Mishler said.
"Customers using other rate controllers can easily and conveniently migrate to a single John Deere Rate Controller 2000 at a lower cost versus adding multiple controllers."
The John Deere Rate Controller 2000 is a drop-in replacement for current GreenStar rate controller-equipped implements utilizing a GreenStar 3 2630 Display.
It can be used on non-John Deere equipment such as linkage and trailed sprayers when used with a GreenStar 3 2630 Display or tractors equipped with the 4600 CommandCenter.
